Lorry Loader Training Course
Training is supplied nationwide on the full range of knuckleboom cranes and attachments, vehicle mounted or marine based machines either at client’s premises or their marine craft
Lorry Loader version
- Hook or hoist attachment
- Spoil Grab attachment
- Block pallet grab
- Truck or trailer mounted
Marine Based Version
- Hook or hoist attachment
- Clamshell bucket attachment
- Power block attachment
- Pedestal or deck mounted
Training & Assessment Ratio
Training and assessment programme times are set by the awarding bodies using recommendations from information issued by the Health & Safety Authority.

| 3 previously certified candidates | 1 Day |
| 3 experienced but never certified candidates | 2 Days |
| 3 non experienced candidates | 3 Days |
These times can be reduced if there are less than 3 candidates on any course.
Candidates on crane operating courses will also be offered a course in basic slinging.
Candidates will be entered onto the National Operators Registration Scheme, a certificate and photo I.D. card will be issued and employers can access this scheme for card conformation.
